Zemen Habtemariam

Associate Pharmacist

Dr. Zemen Habtemariam, received His Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland school of Pharmacy in 2017. He completed the Clinical Pharmacy Associates Pharmacy (CPA) Practice Fellowship from 2021-2022, and now serves as an Associate pharmacist for Clinical Pharmacy Associates (CPA) overseeing ADAP Medication Therapy Management services. Dr. Habtemariam is also a certified HIV Prevention Provider.

Dr. Habtemariam has worked as the Pharmacist of Record on investigational drug trials at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Clinical Trials Center (WRAIR CTC) in Silver Spring, MD and at CBH Cenexel Health in Gaithersburg, MD. In addition, he coordinated transitions of care for atypical antipsychotic patients for the Maryland Medicaid Peer Review Program and conducted comprehensive medication reviews for Spanish-speaking patients for AdhereHealth. His interests include formulary management, clinical pharmacy and clinical research.
